Day 2 for baby Esther!

Baby and Mom are both doing great! I (Leon) look forward to bringing them home and have the family together under one roof. Carrie, Grace, Corban and myself plan to go bring them home tomorrow (Sat). What a way to spend Easter weekend, celebrating new life, not only in our girl, but in a risen Savior that has conquered death for us all! Praise God Almighty!

WELCOME Esther Alexandria Yoder!!

This forenoon our 4th child / 3rd daughter, Esther Alexandria Yoder, joined our family at 11:12 am. Esther weighed 7 lbs and 6 oz. and measured 19.5" tall. SuEllen and her are both doing well. They are resting at the New Eden Care Center and are open for visitors.

Sidewalk Accident

Grace had a little run in with the sidewalk at Grandmas house on Sunday evening. She is recovering, but looks a little beat up. So much for Easter photos...
Corban is on day 2 of potty training! Definately doing better than day 1 so far. I may have to come with some better treats, but so far chocolate has been it!
We are celebrating our 9th anniversary tomorrow!! Time flies when you're having fun.

The BIrd

After 4+ hr on the Green Egg at around 330 the bird is getting close. The chicken is sitting on a pop can and the drip pan is also filled with ?juice? to keep it moist. I started out with a rub then after 4 hrs started basting it with a basic mopping sauce, using some leftover coffee, worchestershire, ketchup, salt, pepper, and sugar cane molasses and maybe a bit of the leftover rub.
